About

I'm Krystle Tugadi — a vocalist and CalArts MFA-trained performing artist with 20+ years of experience on stage and in the studio. I've performed at the House of Blues, the Viper Room, and the Ford Amphitheatre, released an independent EP, and spent years as a resident vocalist at venues across Los Angeles and Southern California.

I specialize in working with beginners and casual singers — people who have always wanted to explore their voice but never quite found the right space to do it. My lessons are warm, low-pressure, and completely judgment-free. You don't need any experience or background. You just need curiosity and a willingness to play.

What we can work on together:

  • Finding and building confidence in your voice
  • Vocal technique and breath support basics
  • Healthy vocal habits and vocal care
  • Song interpretation and emotional delivery
  • Singing for fun, for karaoke, or just for yourself

My approach is patient, encouraging, and always tailored to you. There is no wrong place to start.

Teaching Style

Warm, patient, and completely judgment-free. I create a safe and encouraging space where students feel free to explore their voice without pressure or self-consciousness. Every lesson is relaxed, playful, and tailored to where you are right now. I meet you exactly where you are — no expectations, no intimidation, just genuine support and a lot of encouragement.

Curriculum

I start by getting to know your voice and what you're hoping to explore. From there we work on the fundamentals — breath support, posture, and finding your natural resonance — before moving into song work and expression. I use a combination of vocal exercises, guided listening, and song interpretation to help students build technique while keeping the joy of singing front and center. Every lesson is paced at the student's comfort level.
