Esther Tang
About
Hi, I am Esther. I had over 10 years of piano teaching experience and I had a wealth of knowledge and experience in performing onstage and accompaniment. I love to work with others, and I teach all ages and levels! I received my Master of Music from Southern Illinois University, major in Collaborative Piano and a B.A in Music (Piano Performance) from Taiwan. I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay and I am currently based in Malaysia.
I teach piano, ukulele and music theory! If you are interested in taking a lesson but do not see a time fit, please feel free to message me and we can work it out together.
Teaching Style
I am patient and I love to teach students to not only how to play, but also understand music through ear training, sight singing and games. I tailor my teaching approach to each student according to their needs, ability and age level. I provide different lesson approaches for exam-based (ABRSM/Trinity) or as interest, and I focus on creating a warm environment where every student can explore and learn music with confidence and joy.
Curriculum
I teach students using different teaching methods to work out what relates to students most and works the best for them.
