Meg Chambers Steedle

Meg Chambers Steedle has been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years, first starting her career onstage, then transitioning to film/tv, and most recently has moved to working as a director/filmmaker as well.

Meg's credits include HBO's Boardwalk Empire for which she earned a SAG Awards nomination, Peacock's Mr. Mercedes, Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy, NBC's Mysteries of Laura, FX's American Horror Story, among many others. She has acted onstage in NYC (and got her start in the theatre), and now has entered the realm of filmmaking, writing and directing her own film this past year.

Using her real industry experience, Meg helps each actor develop their own reliable toolkit for approaching material. Meg has worked with many acting methods as well as developed her own system for analyzing and breaking down the scene. Students will learn how to be a great storyteller using the script as a blueprint, and how to bring THEMSELVES and their own offering to every role.

Meg is passionate about helping all students of acting find their own way in the craft and how they can best bring their own creativity to every role. She believes mentorship is a key pillar of any creative profession. Meg was the 2025 Graduation Speaker at her former high school in North Carolina.

Meg is a Northwestern University graduate, attended BADA's Shakespeare program in Oxford, and currently lives in NYC.

This is tailored to what the student is looking to learn, but Meg believes in learning by doing! She has a library of hundreds of audition sides and scripts from her own acting career, as well as from other students who are actively auditioning. 

Work begins with a script. Meg will pull something for each student to work on, catered to their individual age, type, and/or something that would be a good piece to challenge the student in a particular way.
