My name is Rifki, and I began my violin journey at the age of 10, learning from my father, who is both a violin teacher and a professional luthier. Since then, music has been a central part of my life.

I later continued my studies with Mrs. Therese Wirakesuma (USA), the Music Director of the Suzuki Music Association of Indonesia. Graduated at Indonesia Institute of the Arts in Music Performance where I study under Danny Ceri. I have also had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with internationally recognized musicians such as Terry Durbin (USA), Albyrd Siripong (Thailand), Professor Sarah Mangiamele (Italy), and Iskandar Widjaja (Germany), as well as workshops in New Zealand and Singapore.

Throughout my journey, I have been honored to win first prize in several national violin competitions, including the Jakarta Intercultural Korean School Music Competition and the Semarang Open Violin Competition.

As a performer, I have collaborated with professional orchestras such as Jakarta City Philharmonic, Jakarta Sinfonietta, Jakarta Concert Orchestra, and Twilite Orchestra. I have also performed with Camerata Indonesia Orchestra, Bangkok Chamber Orchestra, Orkestra Mahasiswa ISI Yogyakarta, and appeared as a soloist in a collaborative concert between the Yogyakarta Royal Orchestra and MSO Youth Music Camp at Candi Prambanan.

I am passionate about sharing my experience and helping students grow not only technically, but also musically and artistically. I look forward to learning and making music together with you!

My teaching style is structured, personalized, and focused on building strong fundamentals while helping each student develop their own musical voice. I believe good technique should serve musical expression, not limit it.

In each lesson, I carefully identify the student’s specific challenges and provide clear, practical steps to improve them. We work on posture, bow control, intonation, left-hand technique, shifting, rhythm, and musicality, always adapted to the student’s level and goals.

I use a step-by-step practice approach that helps students understand not only what to practice, but also how and why to practice it. Whether you are preparing for an exam, audition, competition, performance, or simply want to become a better violinist, my goal is to help you practice more effectively and play with greater confidence.

Lessons are supportive but focused, with high standards and attention to detail. I want my students to become independent musicians who understand their instrument and know how to solve problems on their own.
