Hi I'm agastya mahajan, I'm a MBBS intern here in Dehradun, during my free time i teach beatboxing to students from all over the world! 🌍
I have been beatboxing from past 7 years, i learnt on my own when i was in school and one thing I realised is this..if i had the right guidance from a teacher i would have learnt much faster..which is why i love teaching online!
I have 3+ years of teaching experience on School of Beatbox (london UK) and another online platform.
In total I've taught 5 students at School of Beatbox and 11+ students on another platform.
I teach online through various platforms such as google meet and zoom for convenience as per the students needs.
Usually students book either weekly session or 1 session per 2 weeks as per their schedule, personally i believe even a single session per week is more than enough to get you started on your beatbox journey.
My youngest student so far is from the US, he's 7 years old! And once you hear him beatboxing you'll be surprised how much a young kid can also learn if started on the right track.
I have taught students from all age groups, from kids under 10 to adults over 40. As it is rightly said, there's no "Right" time to start learning something new..so if you're willing to get started on your beatboxing journey in the easiest way, here i am ready to help you!

Curriculum
I start right from the basics, so that the student is able to understand clearly what we're trying to learn and then as their confidence grows, i start implementing more advanced patterns and complex sounds.
Its simple, my main focus is "patterns" which i make on my own individually for each student and i make them focus on the simple rule of "Practice, Practice and Practice!", once you get the proper foundation of the sounds, all you have to do is practice them daily so that it becomes permanent and your mind is able to make those beats and sounds easily. During the first session i try to understand how much the student already knows, if basics are clear i immediately go forward, if not, we start right from scratch and slowly reach to the level that they have the confidence to beatbox with ease.
Credentials & Affiliations
Upto highschool, i have studied from BHUTAN there after i came back to India and further did my studies.
I completed my MBBS degree from GBCM dehradun this year at may 2026.
Currently I'm an MBBS intern doctor here in my college itself.
