Hello! I’m a passionate violin and viola teacher based in Hong Kong, and I would love to help you (or your child) discover the joy of making music.

I hold ABRSM Grade 8 in Violin and the ATCL Performance Diploma in Viola from Trinity College London. With over five years of teaching experience and more than 200 performances in orchestras and chamber music ensembles, namely Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong Summer Festival, Hong Kong Generation Next Arts Music Festival 2024, etc.. I am currently an active orchestral member in more than 10 local orchestras as guest Principals or guest players.

Speaking of my teaching journey, I am also teaching Beginner and Intermediate Violin or Viola group classes in many local primary and secondary schools such as P.L.K. Leung Chow Shun Kam Primary School (PLKLCSK), Tai Kok Tsui Catholic Primary School (Hoi Fan Road), Ma On Shan Tsung Tsin Secondary School, St Francis Xavier School (Tsuen Wan), etc.. Besides, I am the founding conductor of the newly established String Ensemble in PLKLCSK which continues to be the principal conductor of the ensemble.

In my classes, I bring both solid pedagogical knowledge and real-stage experience into every lesson. I have worked with students of all ages and levels — from complete beginners taking their first steps, to intermediate and advancing players preparing for exams or simply wanting to play with greater confidence and expression. I warmly welcome both children and adult learners who wish to start or continue their musical journey.

你好！我是一位來自香港、對音樂充滿熱誠的小提琴及中提琴老師。我非常期待能帶領你（或你的小朋友）一起探索音樂的樂趣！

我持有英國皇家音樂學院（ABRSM）的八級小提琴證書，以及倫敦聖三一學院的 ATCL 中提琴演奏文憑。我擁有超過五年的教學經驗，並曾參與逾 200 場樂團及室樂演出（包括Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong 夏日音樂節、Hong Kong Generation Next Arts Music Festival 2024 等）。目前我亦以客席首席及客席樂手身份，活躍於 10 多個本地樂團。

在教學方面，我於多間本地中小學擔任初級及中級的小提琴、中提琴群組班導師，學校包括保良局梁周順琴小學、大角嘴天主教小學（海帆道）、馬鞍山崇真學堂、荃灣聖芳濟中學等。此外，我亦是保良局梁周順琴小學新成立弦樂團的創團指揮兼現任首席指揮。

我的課堂強調理論與實戰並重，致力將豐富的教學知識與舞台經驗融入每節課中。我接觸過不同年齡及程度的學生——無論是零基礎初學者，還是正準備考級、或是希望提升演奏自信與情感表達的中高級學生，我都非常歡迎。無論是小朋友還是想圓夢的成年學員，都隨時歡迎加入我的音樂課堂！

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and carefully tailored to each student. I focus on building strong technique, beautiful tone, and genuine musical expression. In addition to solo playing, I also offer specialised guidance in orchestral playing techniques, helping students develop the skills needed for ensemble and orchestra settings. Whether your goal is to prepare for ABRSM or Trinity exams, join a school or community orchestra, or simply experience the pleasure of playing, I will support you every step of the way.

I teach in both English and Cantonese. My available times are weekday mornings in Hong Kong, which work especially well for evening students in North America.

我嘅教學風格耐心、鼓勵，並會根據每位學生嘅程度同目標度身訂造。我會着重建立穩固嘅技巧、優美嘅音色同真實嘅音樂表達。除咗獨奏技巧之外，我亦可以提供樂團演奏技巧嘅專門指導，幫助學生掌握合奏同樂團所需嘅能力。無論你係想準備 ABRSM 或 Trinity 考試、加入學校或社區樂團，定係單純享受拉琴嘅快樂，我都會一路陪伴你穩步成長。

我可以用英文或廣東話授課。我嘅可授課時間為平日香港早上，正好適合北美地區晚上時段嘅學生。
