TEACHING STYLE | VOCAL FREEDOM©
Tatiana's Vocal Freedom© approach is rooted in classical Bel Canto technique while recognizing that meaningful vocal development involves the whole artist. Her teaching combines technical precision with compassion, clarity, body and breath awareness, artistic imagination, and freedom of expression. Rather than imposing a single formula on every singer, she adapts each lesson to the student's individual voice, experience, learning style, personality, and goals.
Lessons may explore breath coordination, posture and alignment, healthy vocal production, resonance, registration, range and flexibility, projection, diction, phrasing, musical interpretation, repertoire development, stage presence, character and artistic expression, audition preparation, and performance confidence. Tatiana enjoys helping students apply a healthy technical foundation across Classical, Opera, Classical Crossover, Musical Theatre, Pop, Jazz, contemporary, Disney and film, folk, and other repertoire appropriate to the individual singer.
Equally important is the environment in which learning takes place. Tatiana strives to create a warm, positive, joyful, and nonjudgmental studio where students feel safe to experiment, ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Her holistic approach integrates technique with confidence-building, self-awareness, goal development, resilience, and mentorship, helping students develop not only a stronger instrument but a more trusting and expressive relationship with their own voice.
Whether you are discovering your voice for the first time, returning to singing after time away, preparing for an audition, competition, recital, recording session, or professional performance, or simply seeking greater confidence and freedom as a singer, Tatiana meets you where you are. Her goal is to give every student the technical tools, artistic guidance, and encouragement needed to build a voice that is healthy, expressive, confident, and authentically their own.
