Jake Fowler

Professional Bassoonist and Contrabassoonist Jake Fowler has held positions with the Wear Virginia Symphony Orchestra, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and others. Fowler has taught many places but is currently teaching bassoon and wind chamber music at the Soth Carolina Governors School for the Arts and Humanities. Fowler received his Bachelors and his Masters Degrees from the Eastman School of Music. 

Lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual student. I teach students of all ages and levels and am happy to work with anyone excited to grow in music and bassoon playing. Lessons can also include music literacy as well as reed making/adjusting.
