Yagyansh Sanghi

I am an experienced guitar teacher and musician with over 10 years of experience playing guitar and have been teaching since 2019. I have taught students privately both online and in person in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, working with students of different ages and skill levels, from complete beginners learning their first chords to intermediate and advanced players looking to improve their technique and musicality. I have also taught through several other online platforms.

As a guitarist, I was part of the indie music band Prayanam, where I performed as a guitarist and explored the creative and collaborative side of playing music. I also run my own guitar-focused Instagram page, Strings of Solitude, where I regularly share electric guitar covers and explore different songs, techniques, and styles.

My teaching focuses primarily on acoustic guitar, including chords, strumming, fingerpicking, arpeggios, lead guitar, fingerstyle, and song-based learning. I believe lessons should be practical and personalized rather than follow a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. I first understand each student's goals and musical interests and then structure lessons around their level and pace. Whether you are starting from scratch, want to learn your favorite songs, improve your technique, or become a more confident guitarist, my goal is to make the learning process both effective and enjoyable.

My teaching style is relaxed, practical, and personalized. I believe students learn best when they are enjoying the process, so I balance proper technique and fundamentals with songs and music they actually want to play.

I don't follow a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum. I adapt each lesson to the student's level, goals, pace, and musical interests. For beginners, I keep things simple and build confidence step by step. For more experienced players, I focus on improving technique, timing, musicality, and taking their playing to the next level.

Lessons are interactive and hands-on, with plenty of playing rather than just theory. Whether you want to learn your favorite songs, improve your fingerstyle and picking, play Indian or Western music, or simply become more comfortable with the guitar, we'll work toward clear and achievable goals.

My aim is for every student to finish a lesson feeling that they have learned something useful and, most importantly, are excited to pick up the guitar again.
