Hello and welcome!

My name is Anastasiia, and I’m a professional flutist and teacher of flute, piccolo, and recorder. Music has been an important part of my life for almost 19 years, and throughout this time, it has become much more than just a profession for me. It is a continuous journey of learning, developing my skills, discovering new things, and growing as a musician.

I hold a Master’s degree in Music from the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv and continued my studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover, Germany. As a performer, I have experience performing on many European stages, both as a soloist and with different orchestras. These experiences have shaped me as a musician, helped me develop my skills, and continue to inspire me in my musical journey.

I also have nine years of experience as a music teacher. Over the years, teaching has become an important part of my professional life and has given me the opportunity to share my love of music with many people.

As a musician, I enjoy exploring many different styles of music. I have a deep appreciation for classical music, but I also enjoy pop music and other genres. I believe that being open to different kinds of music makes us more versatile musicians and allows us to discover new ways of expressing ourselves.

I believe that being a musician is a continuous process of learning and development. Even after many years in music, I continue to work on myself and explore new areas. At the moment, I am also developing my vocal skills and plan to continue growing in this direction.

For me, music is not only about performing, but also about constantly discovering something new, improving your skills, and becoming a more confident and versatile musician. I’m happy to continue learning, growing, and sharing my passion for music with others.

I have been teaching music for nine years, and during this time I’ve had the pleasure of working with students with very different goals and backgrounds.

Some of my students have learned simply because they wanted to play an instrument for themselves, discover music, and enjoy the learning process. Others have come to me with more specific goals, such as preparing for concerts, competitions, auditions, or entrance exams for music schools and universities. I have experience helping students prepare for these important moments, and I’m happy to see them successfully achieve their goals.

For me, it doesn’t matter what your reason for learning is. Whether you want to play the flute just for yourself, develop your skills, prepare for a competition, or work towards an entrance exam, your goal is equally important to me.

What matters most is that you genuinely want to play and are ready to learn and work towards your goals. My role as a teacher is to support you, guide you through the process, and help you develop your skills in a way that works for you.
