Olha Tanska

Hi, I’m Olha, a professionally trained singer, violinist, and music teacher with many years of teaching and performing experience. I teach voice and violin and enjoy helping students develop strong technique, musical confidence, and their own individual sound.

I hold a Master’s degree in Classical Singing from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv and have extensive professional music education in both vocal and instrumental performance. I have taught singing and violin in public and private music schools and currently work as a singing teacher and choir conductor in Norway.

Alongside teaching, I have performed professionally as a singer, violinist, and electric violinist in orchestras, ensembles, chamber groups, and solo projects, including international performances. I welcome both beginners and more experienced students and tailor my lessons to each student’s level, musical interests, and personal goals.

My teaching style is supportive, structured, and adapted to each student individually. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust the lessons according to their level, goals, musical interests, and pace.

In voice lessons, we work on healthy vocal technique, breathing, resonance, intonation, range, musical expression, and repertoire. In violin lessons, I focus on posture, bow technique, intonation, sound quality, rhythm, and musical interpretation.

My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, and developing confidence as musicians. I combine technical exercises with music that motivates each student, so that lessons are both productive and enjoyable.
