About

I am an Ecuadorian musician, guitarist, songwriter, and music educator based in Quito, Ecuador.

My work combines Latin American musical traditions, contemporary songwriting, improvisation, and creative music education. I have experience performing, composing original music, developing artistic projects, and teaching students through individual lessons and group workshops.

I have released original music and worked on interdisciplinary projects involving music, theater, dance, and community arts.

My lessons focus on developing musical confidence, rhythm, creativity, and practical guitar skills. I adapt each session to the student's interests, experience, and personal goals.

I offer lessons in Spanish, particularly for students interested in Latin American guitar, songwriting, accompaniment, rhythm, and creative musical exploration.

Teaching Style

  • Acoustic guitar for beginners and intermediate students

  • Latin American rhythms and guitar accompaniment

  • Songwriting and musical creativity

  • Rhythm, ear training, and improvisation

  • Music fundamentals through practical exercises

Teaching languages: Spanish (primary language).

Curriculum

My teaching method combines practical guitar playing, creativity, ear training, and Latin American musical traditions.

I adapt each lesson to the student's experience, interests, and goals. Beginners learn basic chords, rhythm, coordination, and simple songs. Intermediate students explore accompaniment, improvisation, songwriting, and Latin American rhythms such as cumbia and other traditional styles.

I encourage students to learn through listening, playing, and creating music rather than relying exclusively on technical exercises.

Recommended materials: Students should have an acoustic or classical guitar, a notebook, and access to audio recordings. I provide personalized exercises, chord charts, rhythmic patterns, and song materials according to each student's level and interests.

No specific textbook is required. When appropriate, I recommend additional learning resources based on the student's musical goals.

Lessons are primarily taught in Spanish.
