Matt Campfield

Hello all, I’m a two-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer and songwriter, and FL Studio has been my main tool for close to 20 years. For the past decade I’ve been writing and producing records for major-label artists including Kehlani, Lil Nas X, Lil Wayne x Lucky Daye and many more. Now I want to pass on what I’ve learned.

Whether you’re opening FL for the first time or you’ve been making beats for years and feel stuck, I’ll meet you where you are. We can work on:

• Getting around FL Studio quickly and building a fast workflow
• Drum programming, sound selection and arrangement
• Chords, melodies and writing songs that actually feel finished
• Mixing your tracks so they sound clean and professional
• How the music business really works: sessions, splits and placements

I also play piano, drums and guitar, so I can help with musicianship and theory alongside production. Lessons are one-on-one and online only, built around your goals and the music you love.

I’m a patient, easygoing teacher, and I want lessons to be fun, not stressful. There are no dumb questions with me; we’ll go at whatever pace works for you and keep things hands-on, working inside FL on real tracks instead of just talking theory. I love watching students level up, so each lesson builds on the last, and you’ll leave every session with something new you can actually use in your own music. My goal is for you to walk away more confident, more creative and excited to get back in the studio.
