Rainer Pusch
About
Jazz saxophone master Rainer Pusch teaches beginning through advanced saxophone. Pusch has studied with many greats, and has performed and taught in Germany and internationally since 1979, with his latest improvisation and jazz saxophone clinics being in Beijing and India.
Pusch's own technique was informed by lessons with Pony Poindexter in Mannheim, George Coleman in NYC, many greats in Boston while attending Berklee College of Music, and S. Rajaram in Madras, among others.
Pusch has toured extensively with his Rainer Pusch Quartet throughout Europe and in India.
Teaching Style
With a performing, composing, and education career spanning decades and continents, Pusch will take students from the very beginning embouchure technique through advanced improvisation.
Most lessons will occur from Pusch's teaching studio in Mannheim, Germany.
