About
For self-taught rock & metal guitarists who've spent years learning from tabs and YouTube but are tired of needing someone else to tell them what to play...
You open the tab. Learn the riff. Play it until it sounds right. Then find another song and do it again.
After a few years, you can get pretty good at guitar this way.
But eventually you have to ask:
When do I learn to make music without somebody telling me what to play?
Tabs tell you where your fingers go. The riff is already written, the rhythm exists, and somebody else figured out what sounds good.
But when you want to create your OWN riff... there's no tab.
Now you need to understand why certain notes work together, how intervals change the sound, how the fretboard connects, and how to take an idea and make it your own.
That's why you can spend years getting better at playing other people's music and still feel lost when you try to create.
And to be clear, tabs aren't the problem. Staying dependent on them is.
That's what I help rock and metal guitarists work through... understanding the instrument well enough to actually USE what they know and start creating original riffs and music.

My journey began in my early teens, and I'm still playing in bands and performing live on a regular basis. Being a student of the instrument is something that I strongly believe in, and I really enjoy passing along my knowledge of rock, pop, rockabilly, metal, blues, and country in a way that is easy to understand.
