Would you like to learn worship piano? I am a classically-trained pianist with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, WI. I am also a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano through MTNA. I have been teaching piano since 2017, when I taught for 3 years at Maranatha Music Prep School in Watertown, WI.  In 2021, I opened my own studio called Adoration Music Academy, with the goal of raising up lovers of Jesus who worship with musical excellence from a heart of first love.

As I started teaching piano independently after college, I discovered the need for worship piano resources that teach not only how to play the piano but also how to worship. I also found that traditional piano lessons often focus on a different skill set than what is needed to play for worship. As a result of these findings, I developed an innovative approach for learning worship piano. Using this method, my students have been able to progress quickly, enjoy playing their favorite songs, and grow in the heart of worship.

Worship is the highest calling, and it is what we were created for. There is a verse in Jeremiah that says, "I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship Me forever" (Jer. 32:39). We do not learn the piano to become accomplished and well known, although skill is important; we learn the piano to find yet another way to pour our love on Jesus.

Worship piano is something that everyone can learn and enjoy, regardless of your age or musical experience. I teach all ages, but many of my students are adults who have never played a music instrument, and they love learning worship piano because the lessons are simple and easy to follow, and we focus specifically on the heart of worship.
