Based in Boston, Lindsey Stein is a uprising oboist in the music world with performance experience in Orchestra, Opera, Musical Theater, Chamber, and Studio Recording. With three performance degrees from The Boston Conservatory, Lindsey is well adept in many styles and performance practices from Early Baroque to Contemporary works. Lindsey is currently available to book for upcoming projects, performances, and is now accepting new intermediate to advanced students into her Oboe studio!

Lindsey provides detailed oboe instruction over a vast range of performance skills including rhythm, phrasing, breath control, tone, endurance, technicality, and intonation.

Conservatory trained for 8 years, Lindsey believes in a traditional, side-by-side learn through demonstration approach. Because each student learns differently, Lindsey offerers many diverse musical approaches to learning the oboe, this way each student gains a custom learning experience in each lesson.

Tone Quality, Intonation, Rhythmic Accuracy, Phrasing, Musicality, Breath Control, Dynamics, and Endurance. 

Lesson Repertoire: Long tones, Scales, The Complete Barret Oboe Method, Ferling 48 Studies, Solo Repertoire, Orchestral Excerpts, and Sight Reading.
