Andreas Kikinas
About
Hello. I live in beautiful Greece and I work as a classical guitar teacher for the last 17 years. I am also a performing musician professionally, for more than 25 years. I am teaching classical guitar in Patraiko conservatory in Patras, Greece, where I live, and also give online lessons to students all over the world. I will be most happy to help you learn to play this magnificent and versatile instrument known as the guitar.
Teaching Style
I am endlessly patient and calm, with my students, always uplifting them so they can leave the lesson with a smile. My younger students always ask "Is the lesson over already?" I teach classical guitar always adapting to each student and finding the best way for him/her to find their own way and love for music and the guitar itself.
Curriculum
I have used various methods, but have come to the conclusion that Euaggelos Boudounis "DEBUTO" is the best way for begginers to start, really taking the classical guitar step by step and never getting the students frustrated with difficulty. For the very young ones I use Little Recital by the same author that has big notes and drawings in each page, with fun and difficulty progressing pieces. I provide all the material myself to online students from various sources I have. I advise them to buy the books we need if they have easy access to specific books, so we can also help authors.
