Spanish Fingerstyle Guitar with Leah Kruszewski
We'll learn easy, relaxing guitar pieces that feature right-hand arpeggio and fingerstyle techniques. No knowledge of music notation is necessary. I will teach by demonstrating and provide TAB for those who desire.
This class would be ideal for anyone who's curious about to use the right hand fingers to play.
If you're an intermediate player who uses a pick to strum and play, this would be a great opportunity to expand your sound and capabilities.
If you're a beginner, it would help if you already know the fundamentals of fretting the guitar with the left hand. If you know how to play a simple melody or scale and/or a few basic chord shapes, you'll be all set.
If you already have some experience with arpeggios or fingerstyle, you may find the repertoire very easy, but you're still welcome to join.
My goals are to teach pieces that are pleasant and fun to play, and to keep the level as accessible and relaxing as possible.
ABOUT LEAH KRUSZEWSKI
Flamenco and classical guitarist Leah Kruszewski loves introducing young beginners to their first songs, helping adult students rediscover their inner musician, and guiding classical and flamenco players in advanced, specialized study. Leah accompanies flamenco singers and dancers in Seville, Spain and travels regularly to the USA for festivals and performances.
This is my first lesson with Leah's group class and I found her to be very patient, making sure that each student is able to follow the details of the lesson. The recording and the lesson files that she shares with her students are also very helpful when practicing by myself. It is nice to listen to her recommendations regarding my goal in classical guitar learning. I would have loved to be in her private lessons, but her schedule is already full. So I will continue with the Fingerstyle guitar lessons with her for now.
This one hour class is perfect for The beginner or intermediate who wants to pick up some good Spanish technique. Leah divide the group into two sections, Based on ability, and she delivers excellent instruction to both. The tidbits of musical technique are worth a lot more than the inexpensive lesson. Highly recommended!
Really well paced and structured class. The environment is very inviting. Highly recommended!
Leah was very helpful to all students especially when everyone had different levels of expertise.Leah is very kind to give us notes and so encouraging to keep learning. I am booking all my lessons with LESSONFACE and Love Leah!
