Sara Dismukes is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Montgomery, Alabama.

Going out into the forests and fields, harvesting materials from nature, and sitting down in the sun to weave a basket is Katie Grove’s idea of a perfect day. She is an artist and educator whose passion is to guide people in connecting to their creative self through the combination of art and nature.

Hi, and welcome to my teaching profile :) Main subjects and instruments include electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, cajon, drumkit, music theory, improvisation, percussion, aural skills (ear training), eurythmics (internalizing rhythm), sight-reading, classical guitar and flamenco guitar. Lessons are fun, engaging, and educational.

Melanie Bailey Cox is a spinner and weaver with a passion for textile arts. Melanie is a member of the Burlington Handweavers and Spinning Guild and through the guild she became exposed to and involved with handweaving and hand spinning. With her engineering background she has always had a love for processes and enjoys understanding how to make things.

Amie is a lifelong fiber arts enthusiast who believes there are two types of projects: the ones that require concentration and those meant for meeting up to chat with fellow knitters and crocheters. She always has at least one of each in progress. Based in Durham, NC, Amie loves teaching for local yarn shops and regional fiber festivals.

My name is Flor and I am the designer behind each item from Ullvuna, my brand that inspires and promotes creativity through Pin Loom Weaving, the portable way of weaving. I have been in this business for 15 years, creating all kind of products and services, most of them produced on demand in the US: weaving kits, patterns, books, video classes, subscriptions, coloring pages, etc.

I have been teaching classical piano for thirty years. I believe in solid foundations. Playing with a free arm and wrist and touching the keys in right way are all essential for expressive playing and mastery. For this there are exercises, which include scales and arpeggios.

I grew up near Chattanooga, TN, nailing boards together from an early age in my grandfather’s woodshop. An ample supply of Legos kept me curious about how the universe was assembled. The love of patterns and design brought me to college pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree and a fledgling beard. My student years ended, my beard was full and corporate life was disappointing.

Whether you are a beginner or just looking to refine your existing process and skills, I'm here to help you reach your goals!--It's what I do, and I love it (= I am an educator, choreographer, and professional dancer with 15+ years of teaching and industry experience both nationally and abroad.

I'm a mum with a passion for learning, teaching, and encouraging others to do the same! I have taught for 22 years in urban public schools, elite private school and tutoring academies, and my own homeschool. Currently, I develop my own curriculum and teach crochet and writing classes at a non-profit learning community alongside other dedicated educators.
