Dr. Russell Jessup, Professor and Center Director Texas A&M Agrilife Research & Extension Center at San Angelo, managing diverse faculty research efforts across wool and mohair testing, sheep & goat production, rangeland operations, wildlife ecosystems, prescribed fire programs, and row crop agronomics.

I am a 4th generation fiber artist living in Hendersonville, NC. I have been crocheting since childhood and have been making stuffed and 3-dimensional works in yarn and fabric for over 40 years. More often than not, I can be found working on my whimsical mixed media and freeform crochet bird and bear sculptures or my lace and figurative crochet earrings.

Crystal Lawrence has been knitting since her Grannie taught her when she was 11. She has always been fascinated by the next challenge around the corner and when her friend and owner of a LYS offered to sell her a knitting machine 12 years ago she was hooked. Almost everything she has learned for MK has come from experimentation, hand knitting know-how, and vintage books.

Steve has taught ceramics and sculpture at the secondary and university levels. The majority of his time has been at Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri, with over 30 years there. Steve received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Missouri State University. In addition, he studied ceramics at the Kansas City Art Institute from 1982-83.

Mary Egbert currently lives in Florida and in 2005 she raised a herd of 25 alpaca back in Utah, where she got her start in the fiber biz. She has many instructional videos on You Tube and an online classes at the Camaj School of Fiber Arts. She wrote 5-star rated book on Amazon titled the Art of Washing Wool, Mohair and Alpaca.

Catherine Redford was born in England where she learnt to knit and sew as a young girl. After relocating from London to Naperville, Illinois, she learned to quilt and never looked back. She's an award-winning quilter, an active member of her local guilds, and a popular teacher at the local and national level.

I am a professional cellist, teacher and coach based in Vienna. As a performer, I regularly appear at major venues such as the Wiener Konzerthaus and Wiener Musikverein, have performed at international festivals alongside acclaimed artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and with my long-standing ensembles and orchestras, including the Oberton String Octet and the Tonkünstler Orchestra.

Hi! I’m a voice and songwriting coach with over 10 years of experience helping singers and songwriters build strong foundations and develop their unique artistic voices. I hold a degree in Musical Theatre with a Voice Concentration from Shenandoah University, and I specialize in voice training, songwriting, and music theory.

Charles F. Gattis is a retired United Methodist pastor, with degrees from Birmingham-Southern College and Emory University. Photography has been an interest for him since the age of thirteen. He uses both DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, and has become fascinated with the photo opportunities of the iPhone.
