Harriet Boon was introduced to sheep and fiber in the early 1970’s, and earned a Master Spinner certificate from Georgian College in 1976. Since that time Harriet has instructed spinning, dyeing, and judging classes in Canada and in the USA. Her fiber addiction lead to establishing a small flock of English Leicester sheep in addition to a commercial flock.

Gary, known as The Cheese Guy, began making artisan cheese at home after eating "half his weight" in Stilton cheese in pubs across England, Ireland, and Scotland while he and his wife toured castles and gardens on vacation years ago. Following training by noted experts in Michigan and Canada, he has been teaching cheesemaking classes for more than a decade now.

Karen Donde weaves garments, fashion accessories and home textiles for sale and teaches beginning-advanced weaving classes and assorted workshops for guilds and conferences. Amy Shelton is a fiber artist, instructor, and crochet designer. For the last eight years, she has owned SPARKLE Studio, a working and teaching fiber arts studio and local yarn shop located at the historic Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville, AL. She is an expert crocheter who has been crocheting since the age of 9.

Hello! I am Amanda, from Canada. I have over ten years of experience as a private and school teacher and a passion to share my knowledge! Emily has honed her skills through extensive practice and study.

Jen Swearington is an enthusiastic, high-energy, knowledgeable educator with twenty years’ experience in surface design and a lifetime devoted to working as an artist. She has operated Jennythreads, an independent handmade fashion studio and crafted a creative living since 2003.

My focus on designing weaves with the tools of our time—computers—started in the 1980s. Author of 4 books; presenter of courses both in person, online, and virtually (Zoom); but always at heart a weaver and designer.
