SUMMER 2026 Availability posted. Accepting new students! I am a veteran teacher of 18 years in public school. I teach all ages and ability levels! I specialize in clarinet, bass clarinet flute, and saxophone. I also have extensive experience teaching trumpet, trombone, and baritone.

Dr. Eric Devey is a trumpet player, composer, and music educator from Salt Lake City, currently residing in Central Illinois. He enjoys a balance of working with his growing trumpet studio and performing in a colorful range of bands and styles.

I have been giving private, one on one instrumental lessons for over 50 years and love what I do! I am very relaxed, easy to get along with, love to laugh and have fun!

I started playing trumpet and piano in Kindergarten, I have played trumpet for over 46 years and have been in various groups in Elem, Jr. High and HS. I played trumpet from when I was a Kindergartener. I was self taught. I was first chair, in Amarillo High School band, and did solo and ensemble competitions earning a one in rating many times.
