Nate Gardner is the second trombone of the Salisbury Symphony and principal trombone of Appalachia: Southeast Wind Symphony. He is a licensed educator in South Carolina with a degree in music education from Bob Jones University. Currently, Nate is pursuing a masters degree in trombone performance from the Jacobs school of music at Indiana University.

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. My father is a band teacher and choral conductor, and my mother is a piano teacher and church pianist/organist. I started horn when I was 12, and I first started conducting in High School.
