Adrian Jones is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist performer, teacher and singer-songwriter. He studied guitar under Bruce French and Lynne Gangbar, and Voice with Bel Canto legend Ed Johnson. Adrian also attended Wilfrid Laurier University in the Honours Music Program for 2 years.

I am a Cambridge university educated tutor, and I have been teaching music privately in the UK for around 20 years, with students of all ages and abilities. I am currently based in SW England, and teach banjo (clawhammer), guitar and bass guitar, and have played all of those instruments at a professional level, in the studio and live.

I have been making a living as a touring/gigging musician for the last eight years, playing in a variety of styles, both solo and as part of a band. As a solo performer, I play acoustic folk rock with layered vocals and guitar parts. I also play keys and sing with The Lucky Dutch, a guitar driven rock n roll band.

I welcome all ages and levels of students. I have been professionally teaching guitar at universities and school systems for 12 years. I currently teach guitar at the University of Maine at Augusta, Colby College, and Bates College.
