My name is Maciej Błaszkowiak. I am a graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań, where I studied Jazz and Popular Music. Starting in September, I will continue my education at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the master’s program. I have been playing guitar since the age of 10.

I have been making music for as long as I can remember. I started with piano at age 4, and then picked up guitar, then voice, then ukulele, and more along the way before also beginning to compose! I started playing professionally at age 18, and studied Music Therapy and Composition in college with piano as my primary instrument.

I teach acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, mandolin and practical music theory to students of different ages and levels. I am currently a guitarist and vocalist of a Japanese screamo band called Ambivalenth;, and a lead guitarist of a dystopian metalcore band Noctornia I am teaching electric and acoustic guitar for 2 years already, to adults and children, no matter their experience.

I am a classical guitarist, teacher, and performer. I have my Masters in Performance and String Pedagogy from the University of Louisville. I hold teaching positions at colleges in the Charlotte area. I run an annual guitar symposium at Queens University which includes performances, masterclasses, and competitions.

I hold a BA in Guitar and an MA in Composition from BIMM Bristol. Over nearly 20 years of playing guitar, I built a performance career across the Bristol, Devon, and Somerset metal scene, playing in the bands Decollated (thrash metal), Voltane (doom metal), and Exaction (hardcore).

Bruce has been helping children and adults learn to play music for over twenty years. A graduate of the Hartt School of Music, Bruce moved to New Hampshire to be part of the Waldorf school movement and has taught as an elementary classroom teacher and music teacher since 1997.
