Nikolas Snyder (aka BANJO THUNDER) is an indie folk singer-songwriter from San Diego, CA. He has a unique approach to the banjo and guitar. His captivating lyrics are reminiscent of early Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, and The Tallest Man on Earth. He spent years playing professionally in New Orleans, which influenced his music and perspective.

Hi, my name is Jordan and I’ve been teaching and playing the banjo professionally since 2012! I started my teaching career at the Chick Rose School of Bluegrass when I was 16--there I taught beginning bluegrass and performance skills to youth. Additionally I taught jamming skills to groups of all ages at the Taborgrass Sunday bluegrass jam in Portland, Oregon.

Hi there! I’m Michael Lanier, and I love teaching music! I'm a lifelong musician of multiple instruments, and I've been teaching since 2014. I hold a bachelor's degree in music, and a master's degree in music education. I teach a variety of instruments, both common and obscure, across a diverse array of styles and genres.

Susan Pepper teaches ballad and folk song workshops, banjo, mountain dulcimer and guitar at regional and national venues including Youth Traditional Song Weekend, The John C. Campbell Folk School and the Virtual Banjo and Fiddle Frolic. She has performed ballads at the Library of Congress and is included in the Traditional Artists Directory of the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area.
