I started studying the guitar with local teachers at the age of 8. Upon graduation from high school I enrolled in The College of Mount Saint Josephs music program as a Classical Guitar Performance Major, also a Music Education Major. It was at this time that I first started teaching private lessons at a local music store.

Roy Lev-Ari was born in Nairobi, Kenya where he attended the Italian school of Kenya and then finished his high school studies in the International school of Kenya. Roy started playing music in his early teenage years when he fell in love with the guitar and heavy metal music.

Hi, I’m Jules — a guitarist and teacher from the UK. I’ve been teaching guitar for over 30 years, working with students of all ages and levels, both in person and online. Alongside teaching, I’ve spent decades working as a professional musician, touring and recording, and performing with a wide range of artists and bands in the UK and internationally.

I've been playing guitar for over 15 years, and I still love it as much as the day I picked it up. I hold a music degree, but what I bring to lessons isn't just theory — it's a genuine passion for helping people find their sound, at their own pace, without the pressure. Hello, my name is Jordan! I have over 25 years of guitar teaching experience and over 30 years experience playing in bands and touring acts.

I teach piano, guitar, bass, songwriting, and music production for kids, adults, beginners, and returning musicians. I earned a BA in Open Music Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May 2020, and I bring 23 years of piano experience, 14 years of guitar experience, and 10 years of songwriting, recording, and production work into my lessons.

Over the course of my musical career, I have had the opportunity to learn from many musicians. From University Professors to Street Corner Musicians, I have gathered much knowledge on playing music. Applying that knowledge to my guitar playing has opened up many doors of opportunity and has made life very fun.
