Educated at London’s Trinity College of Music, I hold ABRSM Grade 8 certifications in singing, violin, and music theory, alongside advanced studies in piano and guitar.

With over 35 years of professional experience as a vocalist, guitarist, and performer, I bring both a passion for music and a wealth of knowledge to every lesson. For a decade, I was a member of a successful band named The Glorious Sons, opening three times for the Rolling Stones and earning two Juno Awards along the way.

I started playing music when I was 6, first singing, then drums and finally switched to guitar by age 12. Ward Williams, cellist, guitarist, vocalist, and composer, grew up in Winston Salem, North Carolina. At the age of 11, he discovered MTV and, consequently, the love of rock and roll music. His love of MTV faded (due in part to such betrayals as The Jersey Shore), but his love of rock and roll continued (in spite of such betrayals as Staind).

With a Bachelor‘s of Music in Guitar Performance and a Master‘s of Music in Music Technology, Nicholas Pierce has a wide range of skills to offer. First and foremost, he is a guitarist—specializing in Jazz, Pop, Rock, and Folk music. He has also had extensive performance experience on the piano and bass guitar and focused on audio engineering and mixing in his Master’s studies.
