I’m a guitarist, songwriter, arranger and music educator from La Paz, Bolivia, with more than 25 years of experience teaching guitar and over 30 years as a performing musician. From 2009 to 2021, I worked at Colegio Calvert ACS in La Paz as a Middle and High School Music Teacher and Big Band Director.

I've been a musician for 29 years and working full time teaching and performing for 17 years. My teaching approach is thoery based.

A former Berklee College of Music scholarship recipient, he spent his twenties playing bars and honing his craft in Miami, Florida, before moving to New York City in 2022.

I’m a composer, guitarist, arranger, sound designer, and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. I’ve taught at Yale, Saint David's School, and CO-OP Arts High School, among others; performed around the world in rock bands, orchestras, opera pits, and experimental groups; composed award-winning orchestra pieces, critically-acclaimed rock albums, and film/TV soundtracks.

I’m a very experienced teacher. I have been teaching singing for about 30 years. I studied jazz at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, graduated in 1992 and in 2005 I became Certified Master of Estill Voice Training (EVT). I’ve studied with Kerrie Obert (Ohio) and Steven Chicurel (Orlando) who are both professors in speech therapy and also founders of the Estill Voice Training Method.

Ramon Amira started playing the guitar at the age of fifteen, then studied classical guitar with Juan de la Mata, and flamenco guitar and dance accompaniment with the great virtuosos Mario Escudero and Sabicas. He continued his classical and flamenco guitar studies in Los Angeles with Vicente Gomez.

About Me Hello! I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator with more than 20 years of experience in helping students build their true musical confidence. My musical journey is anchored by a degree from the world-renowned Berklee College of Music, alongside being named a Grand Prize Winner by the legendary Smashing Pumpkins in the global music contest they held.

I hold a BA in Guitar and an MA in Composition from BIMM Bristol. Over nearly 20 years of playing guitar, I built a performance career across the Bristol, Devon, and Somerset metal scene, playing in the bands Decollated (thrash metal), Voltane (doom metal), and Exaction (hardcore).
