I am based on the Malteese island of Gozo but I originate from South East London in the UK where I went to Sedgehill Comprehensive School the same school as the rock band ' Status Quo' who were older than me but went to the guitar club there. Sedgehill School has now been converted into a music academy due to the success of its music students.

Columbus born and raised, teaching music to students of any age for over 25 years. Started teaching after my high school band teacher put me in charge of the drum section of our school band. This helped form my love for directing and helping others learn new ways of playing these instruments. I haven't stopped since!

I am a certified music educator. I have taught music in public schools for 11 years and private music lessons for 16 years. I received my M.A. in Music & Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and B.M. in Music Education from Ithaca College. I teach music full-time in public elementary schools and part-time online. I love teaching music so much that I do both!

Kristin Trotta is a Boston native who moved to New York City 20 years ago to study and make music her career. She is a multi-faceted musician and dynamic performer with 16 years of experience in professional performances, marketing and social media to name a few. I finished my bachelors of arts in music degree in 2016 at University of Baguio. This is where I gained experience performing and as a piano accompanist. He also started teaching at the age of 16 at Musar and other schools while studying his music. Now I am currenty teaching privately on my own studio and a part time piano instructor at University of Baguio.

I play a variety of instruments (mostly those with strings) in a variety of genres, though these days my main focus these is traditional dance music, with a particular emphasis on Irish and Quebecois styles. I regularly play music on fiddle, mandolin and guitar for contra dances and English country dances across Quebec and Ontario.
