Learn from Great Guitar Teachers

I’ve been learning and performing electric and acoustic guitar since I was 9, and I love to share its fantastic possibilities with all ages and levels of students. I also teach (and perform competently on) electric bass, ukulele, mandolin and piano.

My goal is to cultivate excitement in my students and keep learning fun and interesting. We will focus on what it is that gravitates you to the guitar, and break down what you will need to learn to gain the freedom you are looking for. My aim is that you will always continue to pick up the guitar on your own out of the joy of playing, instead of feeling like you have to.

Héctor Crespo studied music at Hochstein School of Music, Brockport State University, Nazareth University, and Roberts Wesleyan College. All of which are located in the New York State area.

Jeff Ellsworth is an accomplished guitarist who has been playing and composing for over 20 years. He has played in numerous bands such as Don Caballero and Broughton's Rules, both released by Relapse Records, and has toured throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Walker Teret is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Baltimore, MD. He has appeared on stage in 21 countries alongside an impressive list of artists including The Gene Clark No Other Band (with members of Beach House, Fleet Foxes, The Walkmen, and Wye Oak), Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, MATMOS, Lower Dens, Cass McCombs, Scarlett Johansson, Zane Campbell, and many more.

I'm a proud graduate of Berklee College of Music and have been teaching for over 10 years through a play-based Montessori approach to music education.

Skully Lawrence is a native of Sierra Vista, AZ and moved to Norwich, England at age 21 to play with an American childhood friend and 3 British lads in a band named “Allied Forces”. After much touring and efforts to launch the band he returned to Phoenix, AZ. Within a couple of years he joined up with Lurch Killz (original bass player for Sacred Reich).

I’m a composer, performer, and music educator based in New Haven, CT, blending elements of classical music, rock, pop, and film scoring. With over 3,000 live performances and hundreds of recording credits for clients like VH1, MTV, and Sony Records, I bring a wide range of professional experience to both the stage and the studio.

I am a flamenco guitar player ,leaving in Madrid for more than 20 years. As a disciple of Maestro Ricardo Modrego (Paco de Lucia's guitar partner in the early 60s) I learned flamenco guitar in a traditional way (guitar to guitar).I studied dance accompaniment at the school of the legendary bailaor(Flamenco Dancer) Rafael de Cordoba, and in the same way I learned the accompaniment…
