Emily Wohlscheid is the fiber and metal artist behind Bricolage Studios. She works from a cooperative studio in Kalamazoo, MI and specializes in highly textural fiber batts and jewelry incorporating fibers and fiber themes. Through classes and workshops, Emily shares her knowledge of spinning, fiber preparation, and dyeing throughout the country.

I live in Knoxville, Tennessee and have my studio at a small community ceramics collective called Mighty Mud. I received my MFA in Ceramic Design from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, the first American to ever do so. I received my Ph. D in studio ceramics from Tokyo University of the Fine Arts in Tokyo, Japan, and only the second American to do that.

Emily learned to knit three times – once when she was a kid, once during college, and again about five years later. The last time, it stuck. She's been designing knitting patterns since 2011 and tries to hit the sweet spot with patterns that are fun and engaging to knit, but also easy to understand.

As the owner of Sewn Company, Sarah Woodyard is committed to hand-sewing preservation as a teacher and practitioner. Sarah became a Journeywoman Milliner and Mantua-maker in 2015 completing her seven-year apprenticeship at the Margaret Hunter Millinery Shop in Colonial Williamsburg where she worked for ten years. Sarah holds her M.A.

I've graduated Magnitogorsk State University (Russia) with bachelor degree in Economics and Master degree in Financial Management in 2007 and worked at this university for 10 years as a senior teacher. After moving to the USA in 2016, I've studied English at College of the Desert (USA) and worked as a certified ESL tutor there for 1 year.

Aleksi Zaretsky is a freelance violinist and teacher based in San Francisco. He is originally from Valley Cottage, NY. Nharah Clark is a fiber artist, instructor, and historic textile specialist. For the last six years, she has co-owned SPARKLE Studio, a working and teaching fiber arts studio located at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville, AL. She is deeply immersed in historic reenactment and has devoted 25 years to learning and teaching the fiber arts methods of the past.
