Quiltmaking 101

Quiltmaking 101 with Annie Smith

Quiltmaking 101 is a sampler of techniques: quick-piecing, accurate seam allowances, hand applique, hand piecing, curved seams, y-seam construction, pattern drafting and quilt finishing. You will make one block using each technique and build your quilting supplies as you go. Complete instruction on fabrics, notions and everything you need to know about making a quilt. If you're a beginner, have never learned correct principles or want to hone your skills, this is the perfect class for you.

This small group class is presented in collaboration with John C. Campbell Folk School and Lessonface. Students are invited to attend an optional Orientation and Closing Ceremony to connect with various online Folk School classes.
