I am a professional touring and recording drummer and educator with over 20 years of experience performing, recording, and teaching. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with an Associate degree in Percussion and Contemporary Music.

The best online music lessons shouldn’t feel like watching a video, they should feel like making music together. That’s the philosophy behind every lesson I teach. Beth began weaving in 1970. She is a student of Norman Kennedy, has had two extensive stays in Japan to study folk textiles, and holds an MFA in textiles from Georgia State University. A Folk School instructor since 1983, Beth currently lives in western North Carolina, where she weaves and teaches. She completed yoga teacher training through Asheville Yoga Center in 2011.

Margery has a Master's Degree in Education and taught high school special education for over 30 years. In the early 1990's she took several classes in weaving. One weaving class, one yard of fabric and she was hooked. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman and is a Master Artisan in Handweaving.

Sarita Westrup is a Mexican-American craft based artist who lives and works in between TX and North Carolina. Westrup was raised in the Rio Grande Valley of the south Texas borderlands and earned an MFA in Fiber Arts from the University of North Texas in 2016.

I found weaving in 1991 and was obsessed in that first encounter. It took a while to find my way through commercial weaving, product weaving, finally coming back to where it all started – art weaving. In my previous professional life I was a musician and oboe teacher so it was natural to gravitate to teaching weaving – that special moment when someone lights up with understanding…

Alex McClay lives and works in Cincinnati, Ohio as an interdisciplinary artist, an instructor in Printmaking at the University of Cincinnati and the 2022 Artist-in-Residence at Tiger Lily Press. She graduated with an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Georgia in 2021. She received her BFA in Studio Art from the University of Cincinnati in 2014.

Renate Maile-Moskowitz’s artistic background is multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary, versatile, and crosses many boundaries. German born, raised and self-trained in just about every textile tradition, the nearly forgotten techniques of felt making and silk/ sericulture production became an early research and teaching pursuit.
