Sarah Loudin Thomas grew up on a 100-acre farm in French Creek, WV, the seventh generation to live there. Her historical fiction is often set in West Virginia and celebrates the people, the land, and the heritage of Appalachia. Sarah is the director of Jan Karon’s Mitford Museum in Hudson, NC.

Hi! I’m Rocío Cravero, a professional vocalist and certified vocal coach with over 10 years of experience on stage and in the studio. I specialize in helping singers develop healthy vocal technique, build confidence, and express their authentic artistic voice.

I am deeply passionate about guiding others through the wonderful world of creativity. Through my expertise in oil painting, acrylics, and wire wrap jewelry crafting, I strive to create an environment where students can flourish and explore their artistic potential.

Varian Brandon started knitting at age eight. A trip to the islands of Great Britain rekindled a love of color and created an interest in the traditions of Fair Isle design and construction. She is currently designing stranded colorwork patterns for several yarn companies, as well as her own website.

Rusty Boyd has been a crocheter since the age of 9. At age 34, he took his first knitting class and was “hooked.” Since that time he has taught himself to knit lace, cables, stranded, mosaic and more. After attending his first Men’s Knitting Retreat, Rusty had his first pattern published by Skacel for their Simplicity Men’s Booklet.
