Hello! I'm Stephanie (she/her), and I am a singer, pianist, and composer with a jazz and classical music background. As a teacher, I work with students on a range of topics including singing, jazz, pop and and Brazilian music repertoire - including scat-singing; ear-training, improvisation and music theory.

I'm a sound engineer with both Bachelors and Masters degrees. I'm also a professional singer-songwriter and artist with my own project (Mari Segura), which you can find on all music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc. I write all songs for my own project besides writing for other artists as well, from several different music genres.

Composer, guitarist, and educator with a Ph.D. in Music Composition from UC Berkeley. My music has been premiered by JACK Quartet, Yarn/Wire, Schallfeld Ensemble, L'Instant Donné, and Dal Niente at festivals across Europe, North and South America.

I've been in contact with English since I was 14 years old, I started studying it and I was fascinated about this beautiful language. I graduated in Civil Engineering and besides working as an engineer in 2016 I also started teaching English in one of the best language school in my city. In 2017 I learned French by myself and in 2018 I also managed to work as a French teacher.

I love introducing music students different rhythms and melodies from classical, rock to pop music. as they develop their technique and repertoire. I also enjoy guiding beginners into the beatiful world of music. Based São Paulo Brazil, I studied classical guitar at ULM (Tom Jobim Institute). I performed extensively as a soloist and in classical in different genres and styles.
