Bluegrass flatpicking has been a major focus for me since around 2009/2010 when I started working with experienced bluegrass musicians in the area like Ed Neff (Blue And Lonesome, Vern Williams Band) and Mike Wilhoyte learning the styles of Doc Watson, Tony Rice and Clarence White.

I got started playing guitar at 13 when my grandmother unexpectedly bought me a guitar for Christmas. That passion led me to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electronic Music Production and Sound Design with a concentration on guitar (2014-2016).

Hi, I’m Juan Miguel, a music teacher from Spain with over 16 years of teaching experience.
