I’m Xale Slusser, a Los Angeles–based bassoonist and oboist with degrees in performance, composition, and ethnomusicology from Ohio Northern University, the California Institute of the Arts, and UCLA. I teach Bassoon and Oboe (all levels) as well as Saxophones (SATB) and Clarinets (Sopranino–Contra Alto).

Hi, and welcome to my teaching profile :) Main subjects and instruments include electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, cajon, drumkit, music theory, improvisation, percussion, aural skills (ear training), eurythmics (internalizing rhythm), sight-reading, classical guitar and flamenco guitar. Santiago Lurueña studied at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Badajoz under Professor Alfonso Pineda, Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen, with Annelien van Wauwe, and early music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels under the guidance of Benjamin Dieltjens and Nicola Boud.

I am a trumpet teacher with 10 years of education experience and students of all ages. I have been playing trumpet for over 17 years and specialize in teaching advanced technique, improvisation, and music theory. My first love will always be jazz, but I also enjoy playing pop, R&B/soul, and classical trumpet pieces.

I'm a musician and teacher specialized in Pop/Rock Guitar, Classical Guitar, Rock/Pop Songwriting and Arranging Music. I graduated with a Trinity LTCL degree (level 6 QCF diploma) in Classical Guitar at the Giuseppe Verdi Music Academy (Venice), there I also achieved Rock & Pop Guitar Grade 8, Vocals Grade 8 and Music Theory Grade 8.

Lindsey received a doctorate in Music and Music Education from Columbia University's Teachers College. She has over 20-years of teaching experience with individual and group instruction, ages 3-50+. She finished her Masters in String Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
