My name is Coire ("Cory") Walker, and I love to balance music's technical, creative, and theoretical elements to help my students become innovative, well-rounded guitarists. As a GIT graduate of the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, I am comfortable with all aspects of traditional and modern guitar music.

With over a decade of experience in teaching and mentoring musicians, I am a passionate guitar instructor and founder of the Contemporary Music Promotion Center – Magnitude (Novi Sad, Serbia). My teaching philosophy blends technical excellence with creativity, offering a holistic approach that bridges performance, composition, and production.

The goal is to instill a love of music in each student and to develop a students maximum potential from paid performance to a student who plays for pleasure and enjoyment. I absolutely love teaching music! After over 20 years of teaching, performing, writing, and recording in all styles/genres, it continues to be a great adventure. It is a joy to pass this on to others...especially seeing my students that never touched the instrument going on to be very proficient players.

For over 33 years as a musician and 29 years as an educator for all grade levels and teachers alike, I have the experience of learning from my previous students and applying more efficient techniques to current and future ones. Much like my students, I work towards learning the most innovative techniques while foreseeing the trends of the future in music and education.

Hi, and welcome to my teaching profile :) Main subjects and instruments include electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, cajon, drumkit, music theory, improvisation, percussion, aural skills (ear training), eurythmics (internalizing rhythm), sight-reading, classical guitar and flamenco guitar. Daniel graduated from the Royal Conservatory Of Music (RCM) Toronto. Gavin grew up in Snoqualmie, Washington and studied guitar with Davey French, guitarist of the rock band Everclear for 6+ plus years. At the age of 16, he started to play guitar in multiple cover bands while also participating in the Mount Si Band program. ​In 2012, Gavin began teaching private and group guitar classes at Big Star Studios in his hometown of Snoqualmie.

I have been playing guitar for 47 years and teaching for more than 40 years. My passion for music began at an early age while growing up in Terre Haute, Indiana. In 1980, I began studying guitar at The Conservatory of Music in my hometown, where I trained for four years before returning in 1986 as a guitar instructor at the very same studio where I had once been a student.

My name is Tristan Norton and I have been a guitarist, bassist, gigging, composing, and teaching musician in Northern California for 13 years. I am a graduate of Berkeley’s prestigious California Jazz Conservatory with a Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Studies.
