After earning a Masters Degree in Ethnomusicology from the University of Chicago, Sam moved to Colorado to manage a small music shop and teach.

Teaching private lessons for 15 years, my students have ranged in age from six to eighty years old. I work with beginning to advanced guitarists. Everyone, elementary students, hobbyists, singer-songwriters, and performing musicians are welcome in my studio. My goal as a teacher is to help students of all levels improve with their weekly lessons.
