I am a woodwind performer, composer and educator who loves to make serious subjects fun and fun subjects serious. I graduated from Eastman School of Music in 2012 as the only Rogers Scholar in my class, and received a PhD in Music Performance and Composition from New York University in spring 2022.

As a classically trained tenor and music educator, I teach voice, piano, and music theory with an emphasis on healthy technique, strong musicianship, and individual artistic expression. Since 2024, I have taught students from ages 6 to 60 at Meter Music School in my hometown of Seattle.

His early passion for music led him to pursue formal education and training in composition and music production. Emad Attar is renowned for his work with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, where he has composed and orchestrated several pieces.
