Learn from Great Composition Teachers

I am not accepting new students at this time. Thank you for your interest. I am a professional music educator with 15 years of experience teaching piano, choir and voice, music theory, and composition. I have worked as a full-time music teacher at independent schools and international schools in New York City, India and Mozambique.

Music has always been at the centre of my life — as both an art and a language of expression. I’m a composer, violist, and educator with a PhD in Composition from the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I was mentored by Sir Harrison Birtwistle and Hans Abrahamsen.

I’m a composer, performer, and music educator based in New Haven, CT, blending elements of classical music, rock, pop, and film scoring. With over 3,000 live performances and hundreds of recording credits for clients like VH1, MTV, and Sony Records, I bring a wide range of professional experience to both the stage and the studio.
