Learn from Great Flute Teachers

Tim Veeder is a professional saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, composer, arranger and educator based in the New York, NY area. Born and raised in the small upstate NY town of Gloversville, Tim Veeder picked up his first saxophone at the age of 11.

Merlin is a qualified and experienced flute teacher based in Oxford. She has been teaching for a number of years, people of all ages and abilities. She recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Flute Performance.

Jovana Stankovic Popovic (born in 1987 in Belgrade, Serbia) gained primary music education in “Dr Vojislav Vuckovic” music school working with professor Mirjana Savic and then finished it along with secondary education, working with professor Ivana Popovic.

Mary-Ann Tu is a primary connector of the flute community in NYC, including introducing Lessonface and the very popular flute educator Keith Underwood, as well as teaching privately herself.

I have been performing and teaching music for many years in a variety of situations and trained at the Royal Academy of Music (London) and King's College. As a wind player (Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute and Recorder) I perform regularly in orchestras as a soloist and orchestral player and my piano skills are used as an accompanist.

Adi Ben Yehuda is a saxophonist, composer, and bandleader based in LA. building on his foundations in Jazz, Adi expanded his sound to Funk, Rock, R&B, EDM, and traditional Norden African music, Lending his unique style and approach to a variety of projects. Adi balances his busy schedule between the studio sessions, shows, teaching, and his own project ( LATCH).

I am a well-known Hindustani vocalist and flutist with over 10 years of experience in performing and teaching both flute and vocal music. I received my vocal training under renowned Hindustani classical gurus, including Pt. Ramachandrappa Uppar, and studied flute under distinguished maestros such as Pt. Govindraj Bommalapur and Pt. Ambanna Kopparad.

Ivana Mišić began her musical education at the age of 9 in the class of prof. Carmen Fuchs at the Vatroslav Lisinski School of Music, where her final class was led by prof. Vesna Črnigoj. Who am I? If you don't know yet, my name is Tatiana Thaele and I am the founder of The Flute Practice, an online hub of flute education that helps flutists from all over the world realize their dream of playing the flute. I have taught students from as young as 6 all the way to 89 on 6 different continents and one thing really stands out: music is deeply meaningful to people.

I love teaching! I have been teaching for over 30 years, kids and adults, beginners to advanced orchestral players. In addition to private students, and I also am the Flute Choir Director for many middle and high school band programs.
