A solo pianist and multi- instrumentalist, he loves using his musical gifts and talents to bless others. He plays and teaches many styles of music including hymns and gospel, Celtic, classical, light jazz (Charlie Brown), standards, etc.

I teach recorder and Irish tin whistle to students of all ages and levels. I have a B.A. in Music Performance from Yale University, a Master of Music degree from the University of New York at Stonybrook, and over forty years teaching experience. I founded Denver's first Suzuki recorder studio for children in 2016, and I currently teach at Swallow Hill Music School in Denver.

I won a scholarship to study flute and piano at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK on the Performer’s Course with Colin Lilley of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. I'm one of only four fiddle players worldwide who play purely in the East Galway Irish Music Tradition (EGIMT) — a listening tradition characterised by long, flowing bow strokes, lyrical phrasing, and a preference for the lower, sweeter tones of the fiddle. Less ornamentation, more soul.

I have been a music educator for more than four decades, teaching all levels from cradle to “almost grave!” My primary teaching on Lessonface is the mountain dulcimer and lever (Celtic style) harp.
