A graduate of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, I’ve been playing guitar for 18 years and teaching for over a decade. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, I’ve performed and recorded with many acclaimed musicians both in my hometown and on the NYC jazz scene, including Ari Hoenig, Steve Cardenas, Sam Yahel, John Raymond, and others.

My goal and hope is to assist you in decoding some of its mysteries, strengthening your understanding of music as a whole and to better define your artistic voice as a musician.

I am a Chicago based guitarist, songwriter, content creator and musician. I studied and graduated from the GIT program at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I have over 10 years of teaching experience giving private guitar lessons and group lessons. I am passionate when it comes to playing guitar.

About Me & My Teaching Approach Professional Background With over 30 years of professional performance and 25 years of teaching experience, my musical journey has spanned across Mexico, Canada, and Brazil. I am a multi-instrumentalist (Bass, Guitar, Piano, and Drums) and a composer currently preparing for an international performance contract with Disney.

Since beginning his teaching career in 1974 David has taught over 7000 people how to play guitar, Bass or Piano. Some aspiring only to play at home for fun and others to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. About & Teaching Approach Alexey Samoylenko is a guitarist and educator with over a decade of experience performing, recording, and teaching. He began his formal music training at the Moscow College of Improvised Music (МКИМ) in 2010, where he studied contemporary and jazz guitar with a focus on ensemble performance.

I´ve been playing guitar for 45 years and have been teaching and performing for for last 24.I attended Berklee College of Music having previously been mostly self-taught. Before Berklee I studied guitar in Spain with Gabriel Rosales from 1991-1994 and became interested in jazz,previously I had been a rock player and played in various rock bands.
