Learn from Great Jazz Guitar Teachers

Since falling in love with the Beatles at 2 years old, I have been passionately persuing music of all genres and background. In middle school I began learning riffs by Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, and learning how to solo with the pentatonic scale.

I have been teaching guitar for over 15 years. I started teaching when I was in college, teaching my friends around the dorms. I grew up playing in bands as soon as I picked up the guitar. That's why I love teaching. I remember how good it felt to learn an instrument when I was a teenager.

Theo Kosmidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. His first musical experience was at the age of 14 from a friend who was playing the guitar. He fell in love with music ever since. He started as a self - taught musician gaining my skills from various friends who were more experienced. Started playing rock and pop music and participating in several bands.

Hello! My name is Jonny Java Mantra and I was born in the Bronx, NYC. I have been playing guitar for 30 years (since the age of 6.) I am a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and La Guardia HS of Music, Art, and Performing Arts in NYC. I have traveled and toured the world performing for over 15 years and I currently play guitar for the US Army Band in Colorado Springs.

I'm Martin! I've studied Guitar Performance major at Berklee College of Music. I have previously taught students ranging from children to elders, in various guitar styles including jazz, rock and pop. I worked as a Core Music Tutor at Berklee College of Music, where I provided individual, hourly tutoring sessions.

Adam Ratner is a guitarist, composer, and producer known for his innovative approach to jazz guitar, blending modern harmony, improvisation, and Brazilian musical influences. Based in Los Angeles, Adam has performed at international festivals including the Montreal Jazz Festival, SF Jazz Festival, and NPR Tiny Desk Concerts.

Simone Gubbiotti is an international Jazz guitarist and composer. He performs and records on regular basis with some of the finest Jazz artists worldwide such as Peter Erskine, Darek Oles, Paul Wertico, Ari Hoenig, Jay Anderson and his Trio #Underdogs.

Chris McCormack is an Irish guitarist and composer, based in London. Chris studied Classical Guitar at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, with Marion Hyland, and Jazz Improvisation at the Dublin Institute of Technology with guitarist and composer Mike Nielsen.

Ever since I was a child I wanted to play guitar. I'd wake up to sound of my father playing and singing songs, until one day when I was 6, I ask my dad to teach me. 20 years later I'm still playing. I've done a lot over the years, played in many band, done session work and learned more instruments.
