I received my bachelor diploma in Guitar, Jazz and popular music from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota - I graduated with honors and my thesis on Jazz as transcultural phenomena was laureate. I later received my Master's Degree from the Conservatory of Music and Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig, the oldest music conservatory in Germany.

Will Franke is an accomplished musician with a diverse background, encompassing over 27 years of experience in both performance and education. Specializing in classical violin, Will also excels as a fiddle player, guitarist, mandolinist, songwriter, recording artist and sitarist, embracing genres such as jazz, folk, Indian Classical, and contemporary styles.

With over 22 years of experience playing guitar, writing songs, and performing in blues, Americana, Nashville fingerstyle, rock, pop, and jazz, I help students develop the skills and confidence they need to express their own unique, artistic voice on the guitar and in their songwriting.

My goal is to inspire creativity, and a love for playing. I began playing the guitar at age 13. Classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles, as well as blues guitarists Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, are my early musical influences. My love for music really bloomed when I started writing songs, and performing in bands in High School and College.
