I am an experienced Voice teacher with 15+ years of experience. I teach students of all levels, from absolute beginners to pre professional and professional singers. Every student is different, and I honor those differences by adapting to how the students learn best. I have taught privately, and at 4 separate colleges. I look forward to working with you!

Marla Volovna was born in New York of Russian parents. She earned her Bachelor of Voice degree from the New England Conservatory, Boston. She also earned a MFA in Opera direction from Indiana University Bloomington. Ms Volovna won a scholarship to study in Salzberg, Austria under the tutelage of Susan Anders at the Mozarteum where she earned an equivalent MM in Voice.

Hello! My name is Jenny and I'm a professional singer and Certified voice teacher. I've enjoyed teaching voice students for over 15 years. Beginning piano lessons at age 4 and voice lessons at age 12, I have over 20 years of formal voice and music training and I've been performing for over 30 years.

Raquel Flores, originally from Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, has been studying music since she was eight years old. She currently has a degree in Music from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, has training in vocal pedagogy from FullVoice Studios.

Hi! I’m a passionate music educator with over 8 years of teaching experience—5 years in public schools and 3 years teaching private lessons. In 2021, I was honored as Teacher of the Year at my public school in Rhode Island. I teach voice, piano, ukulele, and drums, and I’m trained to teach the basics of all band and orchestra instruments.

I am a Russian-born, Italy-based tenor working in the spinto and dramatic repertoire. Kara Alfano served on the voice faculty of Concordia University in Ann Arbor from 2005-2025, teaching voice lessons to music and non-music majors. She has also developed and taught courses including Voice Pedagogy, Voice Diction, Opera Workshop, and Vocal Arts Lab.

A little about me: I've been an operatic baritone working in the industry for almost 8 years. Various credits include appearances at Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Annapolis Opera, Cincinnati Ballet, Livermore Valley Opera, and further future engagements.

I'm a pianist, conductor and an opera coach most of the time, as well as an arranger and general all-round musician. I've had hundreds of piano students over the years, and have taken many of them all the way from beginner to grade 8 and beyond. I also teach professional singers how to make their singing more convincing as an opera coach - NB - not a singing teacher!
