I am a jazz pianist, improviser, and educator with over 30 years of teaching experience. I have taught more than 3,000 students, ranging from beginners to professional musicians. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music and have performed and worked in New York, where I gained practical experience in jazz performance and improvisation.

I'm a multi-award-winning composer with a PhD from Duke University, degrees from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music and Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins, and advanced training at the European American Musical Alliance (EAMA) in Paris. My music has been performed at Carnegie Hall, by the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Kimmel Center, and on international stages.

Miranda Basset has a BMus. from the University of Cape Town. She has enjoyed a number of performing opportunities over the years: playing cello in Switzerland and Berlin with Abdullah Ibrahim's string ensemble; playing the cello with local Cape Town bands Tananas and Ngoi; singing with Merton Barrow's Jazz Band at the Green Dolphin, as well as being a pianist at the Mount Nelson…

I started my musical studies at the age of 4 singing in a Chorus. At age of 7 I started my violin studies and later Piano studies. Music has been my life since then, and I always strive to transmit that passion to my students. I have played all around the world, in Israel, Europe, South Africa and USA.

I am a professional singer, pianist and recording artist. I graduated from Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda with a Bachelor in Contemporary Music and a Master in Vocal Pedagogy. As a professional recording artist I am working on the Spanish versión of a children's music project from Portugal. I love to mentor students who want to become effective, dynamic musicians.

Hi! I teach both language and music lessons including piano, English, ESL, French, and Russian. I have a master's degree in linguistics from Georgetown University and over 3 years of piano teaching experience. I have taught language lessons for a few years now, with a large portion of my experience being teaching language courses at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah.

Sean has taught guitar and piano for the past 6 years and has performed for 17 years in the Maryland/DC area. He began his study of music at his high school and even worked with several Salisbury University teachers like Danielle Cummings while in high school. He is the second place winner of the 2009 Salisbury University Classical Guitar Competition.
